Amplify Austin Day is March 5-6, but Early Giving is already open.
We’re raising funds this year to complete major repairs to a number of our properties. Two years ago, we conducted a thorough inventory of our housing stock, assessing both the short-term and long-term needs of each of our units. So far, we have completely renovated 1 of our properties, and done foundation work and exterior repairs and painting on 3 others. Our goal is to complete the remainder of the identified work this year, but to do so, we will need at least $30,000.
Our primary income source is our tenant rents, and these are not sufficient to cover the level of repairs and rehabilitation needed. The work we’ve done has exhausted our reserves. In order to continue, we must rely on generous donations.
We’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 during Early Giving and Amplify Austin Day. Please join our community of supporters and help us continue to bring safe, affordable housing to West Austin.

CCDC has qualified for 2 Amplify Austin Day matches, which will make your donation go further—a $10,000 match provided by the Shield-Ayres Foundation and a $20,000 match provided by longtime Amplify Austin Day supporters Lee and Roger Kintzel. These matches will be shared by all organizations serving in the housing, shelter, & homelessness cause category. The amount we receive will be based on the total amount we raise during Amplify Austin Day and Early Giving. The more money we raise, the more of this match we will receive.
